A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for Dodge, Jefferson, Ozaukee, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha Counties from midnight tonight until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The arctic cold weather from the weekend has warmed a little with highs in the single digits inland to 14 in Milwaukee. The light wind kept wind chills near 0 all day. A weak storm system is bringing snow to Chicago and will drop a dusting of snow north of Milwaukee to about a half inch near Kenosha before 10pm. Then the clouds clear out and our temps tumble below 0. Milwaukee will wake up to -3 and inland areas -6 to -10. The wind is light but that little breeze when it is this cold will drop wind chills to -15 along the lake and -22 inland. There is a Wind Chill Advisory until 9am Tuesday for all of SE WI except Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha counties. Tuesday is sunny and cold with a high of 12 in Milwaukee and single digits inland. Thankfully the wind stays light with wind chills only near 0.
A weak storm system will bring flurries and light snow with less than 1" of accumulation. The wind increases to 15 mph and wind chills will be below zero. Friday's high will struggle to get to 10 in Milwaukee with wind chills still stuck below 0 during the day. Saturday will see light snow once again but more cold with lows below 0 for the weekend is expected. There are no big storms for the next 7 days, but we just can't warm up.
