It was a dreary Monday but a little warmer with a high of 41..just 4 degrees from normal. The clouds stick around tonight and will bring a light wintry mix after 5am and for the morning commute. There will be spotty slick spots, otherwise the roads will just be wet with a low of 31. The rest of Tuesday is mostly cloudy with a high near 40.
For the first time in almost 2 weeks, Wednesday will be normal with a high of 45. It will feel great with some sunshine and a light breeze. The next storm system arrives late Wednesday night with rain showers. It will be a wet Thursday with highs in the upper 40s and heavy rain at times. More than a half inch of rain is expected. That could have been at least 5” of snow. If you are traveling Up North on Thursday for deer hunting, it will be a rainy drive until the afternoon. Colder air will change the rain to 1-3” of snow north of HWY 29 by late Thursday. Friday is mostly sunny and cooler behind the cold front with a high of 36. Saturday and Sunday are also sunny and pleasant with highs near 40. There will be no snow on the ground in southern Wisconsin this weekend.
