After morning lows in the 30s and 40s, this afternoon was great with sunshine, dry air and highs in the mid to upper 60s. A lake breeze kicked in late afternoon and cooled temps into the 50s near the lake, and that SE breeze will be at 5-10 mph tonight helping to keep lows a few degrees warmer than this morning. You will wake up in the 40s on Wednesday, and the afternoon is once again sunny and ideal with highs in the upper 60s and dry air.
Things start to change on Thursday with a little more humidity, increasing clouds, and highs still in the upper 60s. It is a great day until after 5pm when showers start to move in. Thursday night and Friday are rainy, and it will be heavy at times on Friday. We could see more than 1” of rain by Friday evening. Friday is in the mid 60s with a strong S wind to 30 mph. The cold front moves through Friday evening and then comes the BIG changes. Lows drop to near 40 with gusty winds and a light rain/flurry mix. Saturday is only in the mid 40s with a 25 to 35 mph wind, clouds, sprinkles and flurries….yes flurries. Sunday morning is in the mid 30s and the afternoon is mid 40s with some clouds, spotty showers and a very gusty wind. Inland areas will see the first frost of the season.
