Merry Christmas! It was a cold start with temps in the single digits for most of us and wind chills to -10. In addition, it is the 3rd year in a row without a White Christmas. It has been sunny, breezy and chills with highs near 20 and wind chills near 0 all day. Tonight is clear and not as cold with lows in the teens and wind chills near 0.
High pressure moves overhead and gives us a nice Saturday with sun, a light breeze and highs near 32. Sunday is in the upper 30s but it is mostly cloudy with light snow developing in the late afternoon and evening. Less than 1" of snow is expected by Monday morning.
Monday is windy and cold with highs in the low to mid 20s and wind chills in the single digits. A more powerful storm arrives Tuesday afternoon with snow. Wednesday looks tricky with mild temps again turning the snow to sleet and rain. If we stay cold enough, this could be our first significant storm.
