Breezy night

and last updated

A weak cold front has moved through the area and that will help knock wind speeds down a bit tonight, though a light breeze at 5-15mph will still make it feel like temperatures are in the teens overnight instead of the low 20s. Partly cloudy skies are expected for Sunday and the wind will be lighter as well, this will make it feel closer to the high temperature of 31 degrees in the afternoon, making it perfect weather to enjoy the snow!

On Monday a warm front will move through early on to create snow for the morning commute transitioning to a wintry mix between 9am and 11am as temperatures climb above freezing. With a high of 38 degrees you can expect midday rain showers with a few snowflakes mixing in. The rain may also mix in with some sleet as a cold front moves through in the evening, bringing colder air behind it and ending the precipitation before the Tuesday morning commute. The rest of Tuesday will see clearing with highs in the upper 20s, feeling colder when you add in a brisk wind.

Wednesday will be chilly with highs barely reaching 20 degrees but it will be mostly sunny with a lighter wind. Almost a repeat forecast for Thursday after a colder morning low of 5 degrees, it will warm up to 21 degrees under a mainly blue sky. The back side of high pressure arrives for Friday and Saturday to bring our temperatures back up into the 30s with mostly sunny skies.
