Temps drop into teens Tuesday morning

and last updated

After another very windy weekend with gusts around 50 mph, we are getting a break today...for now. Temps have been near 40 with some sun, a few snow showers and sprinkles. We continue to see this light mix into the evening ahead of the next cold front that will increase the winds to 10-20 mph overnight. As temps drop into the 20s, wind chills will be in the teens Tuesday morning. Tuesday is sunny and breezy with highs only in the 30s...the cold day of the week.

Southerly winds increase on Wednesday over 30 mph and temps increase into the upper 40s with a lot of sun. Thursday is still windy with gusts near 30 mph out of the southwest. That warms us up to 60...the warm day of the week. Friday starts out sunny and then clouds increase with temps in the mid 50s and a light breeze. Showers develop by evening and it will be a rainy night and rainy weekend...especially Saturday for the deer hunters. It will be a damp and cool day with highs in the 40s.
