The 30-40 mph gusty winds from last night were still brisk this morning with gusts around 25 mph and wind chills in the teens. The wind slowly died down and the sunshine felt great with highs in the lower 40s. The wind is light and clouds are increasing this evening with a chance for flurries overnight into early Tuesday morning.
Morning lows will be in the upper 20s and with some afternoon sunshine, highs temps are once again near 40…way above normal. The big issue on Tuesday will be the west wind gusting to 30 mph.
Wednesday begins with sunshine, and then clouds increase throughout the day ahead of the next storm system. Wednesday is the coldest day of the week with morning wind chills near 0, and afternoon highs in the 20s…normal for January. It is just cold for 1 day as we get back into the mid 40s on Thursday.
The morning could see a little wintry mix, but rain is likely throughout the day with winds gusting to 30 mph. Friday morning will have some lingering rain/snow with highs in the upper 30s. Saturday is windy with light snow and highs near freezing.
