We woke up in the 40s on Wednesday and this afternoon was once again sunny and ideal with highs in the upper 60s and dry air. Clouds have started to increase this evening, and there will be a light SE breeze tonight, so lows will mainly stay in the 50s overnight. The clouds continue to increase during the afternoon on Thursday, and highs will still in the upper 60s, but it won’t feel as warm with the cloud cover. The rain holds off until after 5pm, and the rain becomes more widespread overnight and into Friday.
The rain will be heavy at times on Friday, especially in the morning, and we could see more than 1” of rain by Friday evening. Friday is in the mid 60s by noon with a strong southerly wind to 30 mph. The cold front moves through late Friday afternoon and then comes the BIG changes. Temps will drop into the mid 40s by Friday evening for high school football. With the gusty winds, wind chills will be in the 30s. Saturday is only in the mid 40s with a 25 to 30 mph wind and just a little sun. It will be a raw day. Sunday morning is in the mid 30s and the afternoon is mid 40s with some clouds, spotty light rain and a very gusty wind. Inland areas will see the first frost of the season.
