Breezy and chilly continues

and last updated

After some overnight light rain/snow showers, we stayed mostly cloudy today with just a few peeks of the sun.

Thanks to the SE breeze, we have stayed in the 40s while western Wisconsin is enjoying a beautiful day with temps in the 60s and 70s.

A few showers are possible before 8 p.m., then showers become more widespread after 9 p.m. We could even hear a few rumbles of thunder. We could see about a half inch of rain tonight, and there will be no snow with lows near 40.

There will still be some lingering light rain early Thursday, otherwise it is a dreary and chilly day with fog, drizzle, NE winds around 20 mph and highs in the mid 40s. Friday is mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s and a slight chance for an afternoon shower.

Saturday still has scattered showers throughout the day, but the heaviest rain stays in Illinois. Highs on Saturday are in the 40s with a gusty wind. Sunday is nicer with sunshine and highs in the low 50s after morning lows in the mid 30s.
