Once the morning clouds broke up, we saw the sun this afternoon for a little while and high temps got into the mid-30s. The wind has been light and will calm tonight. Since we melted some snow, the added moisture in the atmosphere will create fog tonight. Some areas will see dense fog. With temps falling into the mid-20s in Milwaukee and teens inland, there will be freezing fog making the trees very frosty in the morning. The fog and clouds are stubborn on Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
The mild air for January lingers the rest of the week with highs in the mid to upper 30s, but it will be dreary. Thursday has a chance for flurries and drizzle throughout the day. It stays cloudy this weekend with highs near 30 and flurries both Saturday and Sunday
