High pressure has brought an end to the rain but we are stuck with the clouds and breezy northwest wind. It will still be breezy overnight with partly to mostly cloudy skies and cold temperatures in the low 20s near Lake Michigan and upper teens inland.
Saturday will be partly cloudy with more clouds near Lake Michigan and a few flurries or light snow showers that will not amount to much. It will be chilly with highs barely hitting the freezing mark and a brisk northerly wind turning to the east. Sunday will be the better day out of the weekend with a dry morning and afternoon with temperatures trying to reach 40 degrees under increasing clouds. A storm system rolls in Sunday night to bring some snow and even a bit of a wintry mix before temperatures drop below freezing.
Next week will be much warmer with highs in the 40s and low 50s with the best chance for rain coming on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning.
