Cool autumn night with lows in the 40s

and last updated

We picked up another 0.25” to 0.33” of rain last night…that puts Milwaukee at 4.2” for the past 7 days. The normal rainfall for the entire month of October is 2.6”. We had some drizzle and patchy fog this morning, and then we actually saw some sun with the cloudy cover but it was cool with highs near 60 and a gusty wind to 30 mph. The clouds clear out tonight and it gets cold with lows in the mid 40s in Milwaukee to upper 30s inland. No frost is expected because the wind will be at 10-15 mph. No frost, but there will be wind chills in the lower 30s when you start your Friday.

Friday afternoon is sunny, DRY and cool with temps in the 50s. The sun is shortlived because more rain arrives for Saturday, especially in the afternoon and evening with at least a half inch of rain expected. Saturday is windy and cool as well with a high near 60 and 30 mph winds. Sunday is rain free and sunny with highs in the lower 60s and a lot of sun. A westerly wind at 20 mph is the only issue. We need a stretch of dry weather and we get it next week with sunshine Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the lower 60s…ideal.
