Grand Geneva Resort the following statement Monday:
At approximately 9 pm on Sunday, February 3, the roof on the Maintenance Building at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa collapsed. The Maintenance Building roof is not connected to guest room buildings or guest access areas. No employees were in the building at the time and no injuries occurred. The Main Resort, including guest rooms and guest hallways were not affected. A roof inspector has walked and surveyed all roofs and declared them safe. Grand Geneva remains open with no interruption in service to our guests.

A portion of roof collapsed at one of the buildings at the Grand Geneva Resort, according to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.
It happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday.
The Sheriff's Office says the portion of the roof that collapsed was "small." No one was in the building when the roof collapsed and no injuries were reported.
Snow is being blamed for the collapse.
The Lyons Fire Department and the Walworth County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
No other information has been released.
