MILWAUKEE — Two prep basketball stars who helped lead Nicolet to a state title last season have decided to finish their careers out of state.
Jalen Johnson, who has committed to Duke, is scheduled to play for IMG Academy in Florida during his senior season.
Johnson, a 6-foot-9 forward, helped lead Nicolet to the Division 2 state championship and the No. 8 ranking in USA Today last season.
Jalen Johnson is leaving Nicolet to play prep basketball out of state. Along with former Nicolet teammate Jamari Sibley and former MKE Washington standout Michael Foster headed to prep schools as well, that’s a lot of hoops talent leaving the Badger state.
