Milwaukee Admirals release 2019-20 schedule

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Admirals, who made the AHL playoffs last season, are scheduled to open their 2019-20 campaign at 3 p.m. Oct. 6 in Des Moines against the Iowa Wild.

The Admirals will open the home portion of their schedule at 6 p.m. Oct. 12 against the Laval Rocket at Panther Arena.

Milwaukee, which was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season, will play a 76-game unbalanced schedule.

Highlighting the home portion of the schedule for the Ads this season are 23 games on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Both of the team’s School Games, which feature about 8,000 school-age kids, are scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 6 and March 11.

The Admirals will face three teams that they have never played before: Laval (Montreal Canadiens) on opening night in Milwaukee; the Belleville Senators, affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, on Jan. 21; and the Colorado Eagles (Colorado Avalanche) for games on Oct. 18-19.

The puck drops at 7 for all Tuesday, Wednesday evening and Friday home games. All Saturday games will begin at 6 p.m. The team’s lone Sunday game, March 22, will be at 3 p.m.
