High school athlete Malik Hamilton works hard for his success

MILWAUKEE — High School all-star Malik Hamilton works hard for his success. The senior at Milwaukee Marshall High School was introduced to TODAY'S TMJ4 after his football team won 'Team of the Week' honors during our 'Friday Football Frenzy.'

"Man I can't believe I'm on camera!" Malik Hamilton exclaimed.

Hamilton has earned the prime time branding throughout his high school experience. Achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average and awards outside of the classroom as well.

His classmates gate him quite the honorable nickname. "They call me the valedictorian," Hamilton says. His coaches and teammates, can't respect him enough.

"He has grown so much in the last 3 years," said Marshall Head Football Coach Jon Matthews.

"Malik is so smart, and we got the game winning pick from him in the first round of the playoffs," teammate Amareon Allen says.

Hamilton says that it all starts at home."My parents really stay on me to work hard in the classroom," he said.
