MILWAUKEE -- History is being made on Marquette's campus, as both men's and women's basketball teams are ranked in the Associated Press' Top 10 poll at the same time for the first time in the school's history.
The Marquette men are ranked No. 10 in the new AP poll. Once the women's poll is officially released, MU will have two top-10 basketball teams. #mubb

For the Marquette women's team under head coach Carolyn Kieger, this is the highest ranking in the history of the program. This marks the second-straight week the team will be in the Top 10.
Kieger's Golden Eagles have yet to lose a game in conference play (9-0).
For Steve Wojciechowski's men's team, this is their highest ranking since being ranked 12 last week. The last time the program was ranked 12, they went to the Elite Eight in 2011.
According to the Journal Sentinel's Ben Steele, the last time the team was Top 10 (ranked 9) was the week of March 5, 2012.
In addition, the men's team has not been able to crack the Top 7 since 1977-78. They've been as high as number eight several times since 2002.
A fun March awaits these two historic programs.
