The eastbound lanes of I-94 at 70th Street were briefly closed Tuesday due to a report of shots fired, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
The closure stretched from Hawley Road to 70th Street and lasted just under an hour as deputies combed the area.
The interstate was reopened just after 2 p.m., and no injuries were reported, according to the Sheriff's Office.
