Wisconsin football keeps their undefeated streak going after they beat Michigan – and mascot “Bucky Badger” is already talking smack on Twitter against their upcoming rival, the Minnesota Gophers.
Bucky tweeted at “Goldy the Gopher” with an online poll saying, “#AxeWeek begins now. Hey @GoldytheGopher, do we bother bringing the axe to Minnesota this year?”

Goldy responded saying,"@UWBuckyBadger I think the bigger question for #AxeWeek is whether or not you bring some pants. I hate to break it to you but there's a pretty strict "need to wear pants" rule here in MN. I guess you have two choices."

The two rival teams have been playing each other since 1890. According to the Badger Herald, the battle of the Paul Bunyan Axe has been a tradition between to two schools since 1948. The scores of each game are recorded on the axe's handle, which is six feet long. After the two play each other, the winner gets to keep the axe until the next game.
The Badgers take on the Gophers on Saturday, November 25 at 2:30 p.m. in Minnesota.
