Wisconsin is back in the NCAA Tournament for the 19th consecutive season. The Badgers are headed to Buffalo as an eight seed to take on the nine-seeded Virginia Tech Hokies on Thursday.

Wisconsin (25-9, 12-6 Big Ten) advanced to the Big Ten Championship game before falling 71-56 to Michigan. The Badgers lost five of six in February, but rallied to win three in a row before the loss on Sunday.

On the other side, Virginia Tech (22-10, 10-8 ACC) is in the tournament field for the first time since 2007. The Hokies fell 74-68 to Florida State in the ACC tournament quarterfinals last week. The winner will almost certainly face top-seeded Villanova.
