"It's fantastic," said curling gold medalist Matt Hamilton. Matt, his sister Becca Hamilton and Nina Roth, all from McFarland, Wis., landed in Madison about 24 hours after the Closing Ceremony of the XXIIIrd Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
"A surreal experience," explained Becca.
"(To) be part of Team USA, with all the athletes there, was so much fun. To do the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony was just an amazing experience."
"It was so awesome, getting to compete with other athletes and be a part of team USA, be treated like a professional athlete," said Nina. All three took the same planes to get to Dane County Airport Monday afternoon.
