American curlers stun the world, take home gold medal
Just a week ago, the United States curling team was facing elimination — likely to be sent home yet again without a medal. But the Americans, led by skipper John Shuster, incredibly rattled off four straight match wins to reach the gold medal game. On Saturday — with First Daughter Ivanka Trump in attendance — the Americans pulled yet another stunning upset to take home the country's first gold medal in the sport.
