MILWAUKEE -- Marquette University has released its non-conference schedule for the 2017-18 college basketball season.
The Golden Eagles currently have three major conference teams on its slate, but that will increase once the Maui Invitational field is released (Cal, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, VCU, Wichita St., and Chaminade will all join Marquette in Hawaii this November).
Notable games for Marquette include matchups with Purdue and Georgia at home, and a road contest in Madison for the annual rivalry game with Wisconsin.
Here is the full list of non-conference games:
- Nov. 4: vs. Lindenwood (exhibition)
- Nov. 10: vs. Mount St. Mary's
- Nov. 14: vs. Purdue
- Nov. 20-22: TBA (Maui Invitational)
- Nov. 27: vs. Eastern Illinois
- Nov. 29: vs. Chicago State
- Dec. 2: vs. Georgia
- Dec. 5: vs. Vermont
- Dec. 9: at Wisconsin
- Dec. 18: vs. Northern Illinois
- Dec. 21: vs. American
The Big East season will kick off at the end of December.
