A longtime amateur racer died in a weekend crash at Road America in Elkhart Lake.

The victim has been identified as Jim Victor from Davenport, Iowa.

KWQC-TV reports Victor was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital -- but did not survive. Road America didn't release any other information on the crash.
