The all-world starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers are apparently taking a slow pace in getting a contract extension done.
As Adam Schefter of ESPN has reported Thursday night:
Aaron Rodgers and Packers are, in words of a source, “creeping along towards a deal.” Both sides still motivated to get it done, but one issue is this: Top-of-market deals always hard because there is no ceiling and this deal will make Rodgers highest-paid player in NFL history.

There has been reports that Rodgers has wanted the ability to negotiate more opportunities to renegotiate his deal. He has also expressed a desire to stay with the Packers for his entire career.
It is expected that Rodgers will make a large percentage of his new contract guaranteed money.
