This deal brings some cap-friendliness.
Assuming Aaron Rodgers' new deal doesn't touch his existing contract and is prorated evenly, his cap hits will still be ~$9m less than Kirk Cousins' over the next 3 seasons

The Rodgers deal will be the largest in NFL history for both average salary and guaranteed money.
Aaron Rodgers new deal with the Packers will be worth $176 million to $180 million total, per source. Big feature is cash flow: $67m before end of calendar, over $80m before St. Patrick’s Day next year, $103m practically guaranteed, per source.

Aaron had two years left at $20M per year. If ‘new money’ average is $33.5M, then six-year average is $29M (exceeds Cousins deal as a true free agent). #AaronRodgers
