The currently injured all-world quarterback of the Green Bay Packers has taken another step toward reaching the field for a game.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports Aaron Rodgers practiced Saturday, fulfilling the plan Coach Mike McCarthy expressed on Friday.

This is his first extended practice since his injury on Oct. 15 at the Minnesota Vikings when Anthony Barr drove him into the ground following a pass play.

However, Rapoport reports many steps still have to be taken for Rodgers to reach a healthy-enough status with his broken collarbone to play. He could be eligible to play as early as Dec. 17 at Carolina.
