The Carolina Panthers’ linebacker Thomas Davis’ suspension for his hit on Packers’ wide receiver Davante Adamswas reduced to one game after a brief appeal, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Adams was knocked out of Sunday’s game and into the NFL concussion protocol.
Adams called out Davis on Twitter to after the hit happened during the third quarter of the Packers' game against the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte Sunday.
The Carolina linebacker has since offered an apology on Twitter, saying he understands Adams' frustration, but wasn't trying to harm him.
