Packers snubbed from 2018 NFL Pro Bowl roster

You can look at the NFL’s Pro Bowl roster, but you won’t see any green and gold.

No Green Bay Packers have been selected for the 2018 Pro Bowl, which was released Tuesday.

However, Packers fans will recognize one name on the roster: Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr. Barr was the one who broke Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ collarbone, knocking him out for most of the season.

But, other players on the Packers’ naughty list did not make the roster, including the Panthers’ Thomas Davis and the Bears’ Danny Trevathan—who both hit WR Davante Adams with cheap shots this season—were snubbed from the roster as well.

In fact, the rival Chicago Bears don’t have a single player on the main roster either.

Despite missing the first cuts, some Packers may still make the trip. Defensive tackle Mike Daniels and fullback Aaron Ripkowski were both named first alternates to the Pro Bowl.

Also, Adams along with tackle David Bakhtiari, linebacker Clay Matthews and punter Justin Vogel also were named alternates.
