GREEN BAY, Wis. — Packers running back Aaron Jones was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Jones, who injured his right knee in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, gained 728 yards on 133 carries with eight touchdowns this season.

Green Bay signed wide receiver Allen Lazard to the active roster from Jacksonville's practice squad. The Packers also signed defensive lineman Eric Cotton and cornerback D.J. Killings to the practice squad Tuesday. Tight end Ethan Wolf was placed on the practice squad's injured list, general manager Brian Gutekunst said.

Lazard, a 6-foot-5, 227-pound rookie, originally was signed by the Jaguars on May 11 as an undrafted free agent from Iowa State. He appeared in 48 games for the Cyclones, finishing as the school’s career leader in receptions (241), receiving yards (3,360) and 100-yard receiving games (12).
