GREEN BAY, Wis — It's third and 6 and our beloved Packers are needing to make the most of this drive. So what does the director of fan experience at Lambeau do? Blows a loud... fog horn?
The sound took a lot of Packers fans by surprise Thursday night at the preseason opener against the Houston Texans. It was reported the horn came from the USS Green Bay.

In his first game as the Packers' head coach, Matt LaFleur talked about the big 28-26 win over the Texans and was questioned on the audible third-down addition.
"I just want anything that's going to get people out of their seat and make it a true home field advantage," said LaFluer. "Any ideas to get people out of their seats, we'll take it."
Obviously, Twitter had some ideas.
Outside of the playoffs the crowd is pretty flat. I'm for anything that tries to amp up the atmosphere. Too close to the Viking horn, IMO. Something more along the lines of a Hell's Bells or even get the Jump Around going on 3rd down.

Jump Around is already claimed by one Wisconsin team, but we see where he's coming from.
The Packers' third down horn should be an outrageously loud cow moo 🐮

That's definitely an option!
Annoying horns belong in Minnesota. Just like Lombardi trophies belong in Green Bay.

What do you think would be the best option when the Pack is needing a boost from the crowd?
Third-down horn was NOT a hit last night at Lambeau. What would you prefer to hear when the crowd needs to get amped up?https://t.co/URVtzum0fS
