The Green Bay Packers have claimed kicker Sam Ficken off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks Monday.
Ficken, who started his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars after going undrafted in 2016. He also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams.
In his career, Ficken is 3-for-6 in field goal attempts and 14-for-15 on extra points.
Ficken's signing seems to be a move to replace veteran kicker Mason Crosby in the near future. Crosby missed seven field goals in 2018, including five in one game against the Detroit Lions.
