GREEN BAY, Wis. — Eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt says he's open to playing for the NFL, but only if it's for the New England Patriots or playing alongside Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, the former sprinter was asked if he'd be open to any NFL offers to which Bolt responded "if the Patriots or Aaron Rodgers called me ... if they call me, I'm ready!"

"Have you seen Aaron Rodgers? He's a G, man," Bolt also said.

When asked if Rodgers is the best quarterback of this generation, Bolt said "I definitely think so, because he doesn't have the right amount of wide receivers right now. You know if you had the right amount of players right now, I think it would be way better, but he's doing great with what he has."

Earlier this year, Bolt tied the NFL record in the 40-yard dash while at the 2019 Super Bowl Experience in Atlanta, dropping a 4.22-second performance.

Bolt has retired from the track since 2017. After a brief stint with a professional soccer team in Australia, Bolt declared his "sports life over."

Only time will tell what Bolt will decide to do.
