The Packers may not have finished atop the NFL this season, but Green Bay is still the number one football city in the country.
WalletHubwent through all 244 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team, and compared the numbers across 17 different factors, including championships, franchise value, average ticket price, stadium capacity, attendance, and popularity (through Facebook Likes).
Green Bay finished first in overall rank, with Pittsburgh, New York, Dallas, and Boston rounding out the top five.
On the other side, the bottom five cities were Amherst, Mass., Lexington, Va., New Britain, Conn., Pine Bluff, Ark., and Davidson, N.C.
Green Bay ranked in the top five in several NFL categories, including first in stadium accessibility, first in fan engagement, and tied for third in team performance.
Madison, Wis., home of the Badgers, also fared well, finishing 62nd overall and 32nd among college cities.
