GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers may not be able to host their annual tree-lighting ceremony and holiday festivities, but they are still decorating a 46-foot tree in front of the Lambeau Field atrium.

Green Bay resident Jennifer Johnson and her family donated the tree, which was harvested this week and erected by Miron Construction on Harlan Plaza.

More than 10,000 lights will be placed on the tree in the coming days.

Prior to the tree being cut down, the Johnson family has spent every December decorating it for the holidays. They even put plastic Easter eggs on it during the spring.

The family is excited their tree was chosen, the Packers said in a press release Friday. In recognition of providing a tree for the holidays, the family will receive a $100 Packers Pro Shop gift card.
