WISCONSIN — ESPN is predicting that the Minnesota Vikings will finish the 2020 season with more wins than the Green Bay Packers.

Each NFL season, EPSN compiles projections on how the season will play out for each team. They determine who has the best chance to make the Super Bowl, how many games each team will win, division winners, and top draft spots.

On Tuesday, ESPN released the 2020 projections, which gives us a first glance at the upcoming season.

The Green Bay Packers are projected to have 8.1 wins in the season with a 46-percent chance of making the playoffs. This is compared to the Vikings projected 8.6 wins and 54-percent chance of making the playoffs.

Even with the Vikings projected to do better, there is still good news for Packers fans. The Chicago Bears are projected to do worse than Green Bay with their projected 8.0 wins and their 41-percent chance of making the playoffs. To make things even better, ESPN says the Bears have one of the easiest game schedules.

Even with all of this, the Packers are not listed as one of the top five teams with the best chances of making the Super Bowl. Those teams are the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, and Dallas Cowboys.
