GREEN BAY -- On Monday afternoon on ESPN Milwaukee, Aaron Rodgers fired back at the author, former teammates and the article written about his "toxic" relationship with Mike McCarthy.
"It's not a mystery. This was a smear attack by a writer looking to advance his career, talking with mostly irrelevant, bitter players who all have an agenda, whether they're advancing their own careers or trying to just stir stuff up," Rodgers said.
Whether or not Rodgers is being 100% honest, several of his teammates have defended their future Hall of Fame QB. The latest is DaVante Adams.
100% accurate. Thats what kills me man. Drag a HOF QB’s name thru the mud behind something you have zero clue about. New rule: Dont speak on shit unless u know all the facts. To whom it may concern.... https://t.co/vxk2lb5Mjo

Adams was not happy to hear Rodgers' name being "dragged through the mud."
Former Packer James Jones also spoke out and defended his Super Bowl champion teammate.
"When I read this article it makes me sick..."

The drama continues to swirl around the organization, making Matt LaFleur's job that much more difficult as we inch closer to football season.
