APPLETON, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews took a line drive to the face Saturday during a Packers charity softball game.
It happened at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
According to National Insider for NFL Network Ian Rapoport, "Matthews is headed to the ER ... The belief now is it’s just a broken nose, but he’s having a full workup to be sure. [It's] a scary situation, and if it’s just the nose, it could have been much worse."
We'll have more on this developing story as details become available.
