GREEN BAY -- Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been named the NFL's top player, according to CBS Sports. Tom Brady was ranked at number two.
Despite coming off of an injury-marred season, CBS states that "when he's on his game, and on the field, there is nobody better. Right now, he's the NFL's best."
Rodgers is a Super Bowl champion, two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl MVP and a six-time Pro-Bowler. He currently has a career passer rating of 103.8.
The Packers missed the postseason last year, mainly due to his absence. The 34-year-old QB is certainly going to make the NFC North and NFL a lot more interesting, especially with his new target Jimmy Graham.
