49ers cornerback Richard Sherman is known for his trash talking. But after a 33-30 loss in Green Bay on Monday night, Sherman gave some high praises to the man behind center for the Packers.
While addressing the media after the game, Sherman says it's a tough task going against Aaron Rodgers late in the game.
"It's part of going against the best quarterback in football," Sherman said.
Sherman was also upset about a pass interference penalty he was called for on 4th and 19 in the ending moments of the game that set up the Packers to complete the comeback.
"Regardless of however I feel (about the penalty) I can't gotta find a way to make that play without getting flagged for it. They gave him a shot, they gave him a shot and that's all he needs," he said.
The Packers will now gear up to face the undefeated Los Angles Rams on Sunday.
