The Packers started the day by postponing, then canceling practice. Head Coach Matt LaFleur expressed what he and the players are hoping for during this pause.

"There are so many hopes," LaFleur said. "But I think we're all hoping that some good can come out of all these conversations and that we can see significant change in the world. And in people's thinking. And how we treat one another as not only Americans but as humans. And I would say that's the hope."

Then Lorenzo Cain shared that one of the reasons why he opted out of playing for the Brewers this year wasn't just COVID-19. It was a change within himself, and getting right with God.

"This country as a whole? You know, instead of leaning on each other? They lean on God more," the Brewers center fielder Lorenzo Cain said. "And understanding that forgiving people and loving people is always the way to go. But I understand that takes time. Everybody's not in the same place. Everybody's in a different place in their lives. So, it might take a while."

In the NBA? 3 games were postponed Thursday, with discussion of when the playoffs could resume. That will more than likely be on Saturday, or possibly on Friday.
