Legendary women's basketball coach Pat Summitt who passed away at age 64 had a connection to Milwaukee.
The winningest coach in Division 1 college basketball history coached against and beat Marquette in the NCAA Tournament in 2011, her last year on the sidelines.
Her son, Tyler, was the assistant coach for the women's team at Marquette for a couple years.

He spoke to TODAY’s TMJ4 about having a famous mother in 2012.
"Well, everybody asks me, ‘What was it like growing up as her son?’ And I say, ‘I don't know how it is any other way. That’s the only way I ever knew.’ And so for me, it wasn’t anything different. I thought everybody’s parent went to the grocery store and had to sign three autographs before they could leave,” Tyler Summitt said.
