Life changed for East Troy's A.J. Vukovich after being selected as the 119th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, being selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

And with that, life changed for the 18-year-old athlete. Will he turn pro or decide to go play college baseball at Louisville?

"It's in my adviser, and the Diamondbacks organization's hands right now. And sort of out of my control. Hopefully something works out," he said.

The young athlete has spent his time recently learning from pros like Josh Lindblom and Gavin Lux, working out at Hitters Baseball in Caledonia.

"About a week ago, actually Josh was in there another day. I got to hit off him one day so I got to meet him. And it was me, Gavin, and Owen Miller with the Padres. So, it's been awesome being around those guys. It's almost been a hidden blessing for me, you know I didn't get to play this spring. It's like a hidden blessing just being able to work with those guys," Vukovich said.

The talented athlete is out to prove that he can make it in the big leagues.

"For me personally, I feel like a lot of people have a false perspective. They think I'm just a home run hitter. But I don't feel that way at all. I want to be known for somebody that is going to put the ball in play a lot, with a lot of power,"Vukovich said.

He will represent East Troy well.
