MILWAUKEE -- Former UWM basketball standout Demetrius Harris caught up with Lance Allan to discuss his transition to the NFL and Kansas City Chiefs.
Harris played basketball and football, but ultimately chose basketball for his final two years of eligibility at UWM. Despite not playing football since high school, Harris was still shown interest by NFL scouts.
Eventually, he was signed by the Chiefs after going un-drafted in the 2013 NFL Draft. As of last season, Harris has 4 touchdowns and 441 yards receiving in his career.
