MILWAUKEE -- Two talented athletes who represent Wisconsin on the world stage met after the Milwaukee Bucks' dominant performance in Game 5 against the Boston Celtics Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum.
MVP-in-waiting Giannis Antetokoumpo and reigning NL MVP Christian Yelich briefly met and posed for photos, with Giannis remarking on the encounter after on Instagram.
"I've been off social media for a while now, but I had to get on to shout out this guy," Giannis posted. "He was such a down to earth, great guy! Milwaukee is up and coming int he sports world! Giannis x Christian"
Yelich was just one of the many luminaries in attendance Wednesday. Others at Fiserv Forum included Yelich's teammates Ryan Braun, Eric Thames, Jeremy Jeffress and others; Aaron Rodgers, Danica Patrick, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney, and more.
The Bucks don't yet know who they'll face in the Eastern Conference Finals. It will either be a matchup with the Toronto Raptors or the Philadelphia 76ers.
