MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks second-round draft pick in 2022 has been revoked after the NBA said the team violated league rules.
The news came Monday in a press release from the NBA. They had conducted an investigation to see if the Milwaukee Bucks had contact with Bogdan Bogdanović or his agent prior to the date free-agency discussions were allowed.
The NBA found that the Bucks did in fact contact Bogdanović prior to the allowed date to talk about a potential free agency contract.
The penalty against the Bucks took their cooperation into consideration, the absence of evidence, and the fact that the Bucks did not sign Bogdanović, the NBA said in their press release.
