MILWAUKEE -- The Giannis Antetokounmpo effect continues to bring the Milwaukee Bucks back to the national stage.
For the first time since 1977, the Bucks will play a Christmas Day game, the NBA announced Wednesday.
Antetokounmpo and the Bucks will head to Madison Square Garden in New York City to take on the Knicks. Milwaukee is 2-2 all-time in Christmas Day games, winning their last two in 1972 and 1977.
Other games taking place on Christmas Day are Celtics vs. 76ers and LeBron's Lakers against Golden State. The official schedule of these games will be released Wednesday afternoon.
