MILWAUKEE- A Milwaukee woman bleeds green and cream everywhere she goes.
Her office at Siefert Elementary is decked out with Bucks memorabilia. This season ticket holder didn't just jump on the "fear the deer" bandwagon. She recalls the good and the bad years.
"Especially during that season where they only won 15 games, being at every game cheering them on like they won 60 games," said Dannette Justus.
She's so dedicated to the team that she vowed to wear her favorite team's gear every day since the beginning of the playoffs.
"My principal knows it, my friends know it, my family knows it -- I'm wearing Bucks gear. I literally have enough to last me through the finals."
The Bucks have also taken notice. Over the years at Siefert, she has had members of the Bucks organization and a number of players visit and read to the kids - even number 34.
"Giannis' very very first year, 2013, which was also my first year at Siefert. I remember staff saying 'can you bring a real Bucks player?' Just watch, he is going to be a superstar," said Justus.
Danette's love for the Bucks and their journey to the finals has also been a great way to get her students excited about math and geography.
"Students are learning about statistics, learning about players. They are looking at Greece like they have never before."
Win or lose in the conference finals, you can rest assured Danette will be front and center cheering her home team.
