MILWAUKEE -- The Hoan Bridge will be lit up with the colors of the Greek flag Tuesday evening in celebration of Giannis Antetokounmpo signing a five-year supermax extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The bridge will be lit in blue and white from dusk through 7 p.m., at which time the previously-scheduled Milwaukee Jewish Federation's Hanukkah lighting will resume.

The lights will be visible from the west side of the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge.

Giannis announced earlier Tuesday he was signing the five-year super-max extension worth $228.2 million, according to the Athletic reporter Shams Charania.

Giannis posted the news on Instagramas well, saying Milwaukee as his city.

The news comes after the team made the playoffs two years in a row but fell short when it comes to a championship.
