MILWAUKEE — Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for December.
Aside from leading the Bucks to an NBA-best 13-2 record for December, he was putting up monster numbers. He averaged 29.3 points (highest in Eastern Conference), 12 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. Plus, he had eight games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds including four games with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds.
Overall this season, the Greek Freak is 2nd in the NBA in points per game (30.4) and 6th in rebounds (13.0).
What's more, Giannis has been named the Player of the Month for six of the last seven months of NBA action.
Head coach Mike Budenholzer was also named Coach of the Month for December.
